Kombuchery GmbH’s Cancellation Policy

Right of Cancellation

Consumers have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day

on which you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, took possession of the goods;
in the case of multiple goods ordered in a single order that are delivered separately: from the day on which you or a third party designated by you took possession of the last item;
for contracts involving the regular delivery of goods over a specified period: from the day on which you or a third party designated by you took possession of the first item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Kombuchery GmbH, Torstraße 105–107, 10119 Berlin, email: imprint@kombuchery.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by mail or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, though this is not required.

You may also submit your cancellation using the electronic cancellation feature provided on our website. This feature can be accessed via a clearly labeled link or button (“Cancel Contract” or an equivalent, unambiguous label).

After entering your information, you can submit your cancellation to us in a binding manner by clicking the “Submit” confirmation button. Upon receipt of your cancellation, you will immediately receive an electronic confirmation of receipt.

The use of the electronic cancellation function is an additional option for exercising your right of cancellation. You may also continue to submit your cancellation via email or regular mail.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notice of your intention to exercise your right of cancellation before the deadline expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund to you all payments we have received from you—including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option we offer) — without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction for this refund, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods—whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and, in any case, no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you ship the goods before the fourteen-day period expires. Please do not send returns to our office address; instead, send them exclusively to the return address specified on the return form or in the order confirmation.

You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if such loss is attributable to handling of the goods that goes beyond what is necessary to assess their nature, characteristics, and functionality.

Exclusion or Premature Termination of the Right of Withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal:

for contracts for the delivery of goods that are likely to spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded;
for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, if their seal has been broken after delivery;
for the delivery of food packaging units (e.g., 6-packs), which are sold exclusively as a sealed sales unit and are not intended for individual sale, if, after opening or removing the outer packaging, a return is no longer reasonable for hygienic, labeling, or product-specific reasons—in particular because the legally required mandatory information is affixed exclusively to the outer packaging.

General Information

Please avoid damaging or soiling the merchandise. If possible, return the merchandise in its original packaging, including all accessories and packaging components. Use protective outer packaging if necessary. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure that the merchandise is properly packaged to prevent damage during shipping.
Please do not return the goods with shipping charges due.
Please note that the points mentioned above are not prerequisites for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
